Scripture That Has Lead Me Through Hard Moments
Pain is what lead me to God. It is what backed me into a corner and the only other direction to turn to, was up. The Lord will use our pain wisely, but only if we allow Him to. He will turn all of our wrongs and make them right, but only if we allow Him to.My journey so far has been rough. I have cried a lot and I have felt pain, but I have always felt Gods love and faithfulness in seeking Him. If I could change the things that have happened, I wouldn't because God used it all to start molding me.
BECAUSE I HAVE ALLOWED HIM TO. Because I have surrendered all control to Him and because I have entrusted Him with the outcome.
At one point I felt like a crazy person with scripture hanging all over my kitchen wall. It started when one day, I let the anger get the best of me as I allowed it to boil inside of me.I sat on my bed with my bible and my journal. I NEEDED Gods truth and I needed it to be right in front of my face. For the times that my mind was spinning. For the times I felt out of control. For the times I needed to be brought back to neutral.
And nobody has time to search for verses when having a hard moment.
This was the first verse I ever hung on my wall.
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:7
Now, these scriptures live on my refrigerator. I have prayed them, I have cried over them, and I have mediated on them as I have allowed Gods words seep into my heart. I will always treasure these verses.
